Known as "The Alps of Asia," Alpensia at Daegwallyeong is renowned for its breathtaking scenery. The resort has top-notch winter sports infrastructure, as it served as one of the primary venues for the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics. While the slopes offer an exciting ride with the greatest quality snow, additional leisure activities are also available as the facility is equipped with a ski jumping tower, monorails, and other amenities. The ski area features three cable lifts and six slopes with varying elevations. The International Ski Federation has certified the Foxtrot slope, as well as the Eco slope as advanced-level courses.
