to help rebuild the economy after the big flood in 2006 that affected Odaecheon,
where you can find class 1 fish and otters.

Odaecheon, which comes from the cool waters of Odaesan Mountain and flows west, is really important to Jinbu.
In 2007, the local people came together and started the Pyeongchang Trout Festival
to help rebuild the economy after the big flood in 2006 that affected Odaecheon,
where you can find class 1 fish and otters.
At Pyeongchang Trout Festival, you can find a lot of fun activities to do for children and adults!

The main ticket office is located Next to the Raw fish center and the Trout grill station
โOperating time: The festival closes at 17:00 PM. Unused tickets can't be exchanged or refunded.
๐Date: Tickets are valid only on the day of the issuance
This is the price list of the activities on-site.
Once you get your ticket, you must wear it in order to get to the different activity locations.
Staff will assist you.

In Pyeongchang, where trout farming first began,
the trout is meatier, tastier, stronger, and more satisfying than those from other regions.
Rules:
- One fish per person only.
- Success requires using both hands to catch the fish.

Online reservation is prioritized; only remaining ticket will be sold on-site
Experience ice fishing in a cozy tent with your loved ones or family!
You can buy fishing gear at the on-site shop,
and the trout you catch can be prepared as sashimi or grilled at the food village,
offering a convenient and enjoyable experience.
Rules:
- Maximum 2 people per tent. Fee is per person.
- Catching is unlimited, but only 2 fish per person can be taken out
Fishing Gear is Not included in the ice fishing price. Visitors must bring their own gear or purchase it.
A fishing gear shop is located on the way to the fishing area.

The grilling and sashimi areas are located next to the main ticket office.

- 4,000KRW per fish for grilling or sashimi preparation
You can choose how you want your fish to be prepared,
we definitely recommend to try the two ways!
How to grill?
- Pay at the ticket office, then submit the ticket at the grilling station before entering.
- A number ticket will be provided. Return 15 minutes later to collect your food.

You will be able to find lots of food and places to sit and enjoy your freshly sliced or cooked fish.
